I live peacefully by the sea with my over photographed cat Miss Irene.
As a portrait, event and wedding photographer in Puerto Rico, I live for romance and those special moments that make life so exciting. I photograph Love in all of its forms I'm also an LGBT and same-sex friendly wedding photographer. I am available for travel all over the island of Puerto Rico, Vieques and Culebra Islands as well as the rest of the Caribbean and the world.
I love to take walks out in nature along the beach, and I do my best to never miss a sunset. If I’m not out capturing life moments in my camera I’m on the beach with my hula hoop watching the waves roll in.

When the local magazine in Rincon el Coqui of Rincon (www.elcoquiofrincon.com) contacted me for photographs of Ryan Wykoff for their April 2014 issue I jumped at the opportunity. Ryan is a Rincon local that literally makes a living flying on the ocean. Starting the first and only Kiteboarding school in Rincon, Ryan teaches others how to fly and shares the magic of the ocean with locals and tourists alike. These are the images we created during our Sandy Beach photo-shoot. For appointments with Ryan call the Radical Rincon kiteboarding school: 787 431 6329

Christopher and Rachael were married by the beach in Rincon, Puerto Rico. They took extra special care to make sure that everything was perfect, that the venue was well decorated and everything fit the mood for their tropical destination wedding. Both of their families were in attendance and had a wonderful time celebrating their wedding by the beach.
The venue for this wedding was Sunset Paradise Villas, its right on the water and one of my favorite places to do wedding photography in Rincon, Puerto Rico. The planner who made sure everything went smoothly was Mary Gilmartin of Classic Events.

Their destination beach wedding in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico was a joy to photograph. Racquel’s selection of beautiful tropical flowers and creative and inspiring decorations set the tone for the day. Their family and friends couldn’t have been happier and everyone had a great time that their wedding. Below are a few of the photographs from their wedding collection. The two photographs of them together as a couple and the head and shoulders portrait of Racquel were created just after the ceremony. As a wedding photographer its always important to keep trying new things, and its especially important as a destination wedding photographer in Puerto Rico since most of the time I’m photographing on the beach or similar location. To create these images I had my assistant hold the soft box behind them and shot directly into the light to get the high key effect in these portraits. Its important to experiment with lighting, and creating different kinds of images. All of my couples are so different and their wedding images should reflect some of their unique personality.
Stephanie came to Rincon, to escape the cold winter in New York. We had some conversations and a few drinks before we decided to hit the sand for a spur of the moment photoshoot. I’d watched Beyonces video ‘Drunk in Love’ and was mesmerized by the black and white images on the beach. I wanted to capture a little bit of that sexy mysterious vibe during my photoshoot with Stephanie. The sun had just gone down on the beach here in Rincon, so I pulled out my Alien Bee strobe to light these portraits. Beach photography can be a lot fun, especially if the subject is willing to get a little wet and sandy and really interact with the environment. Lucky for me I’m a photographer in Rincon, Puerto Rico where the water is always warm and inviting. The camera has magic, it gives us permission to be inspired and truly expressive, in ways we might not ordinarily allow ourselves to be.
This wedding was absolutely gorgeous, the flowers, her dress, and all of the little details made this seaside wedding at La Copa Llena unforgettable.
Vince and Suzanne live up north but vacation often here in Rincon. Their story is filled with Rincon Romance… they met each other for the first time at Pool Bar, a hot spot in the Puntas area, and Rincon has been a special place for them ever since.
La Copa Llena is one of my favorite venues because it has such a great combination of indoor and outdoor spaces. Its perfect for any kind of weather and also a lot of fun for me as a Rincon Wedding photographer because it offers a variety of different kinds of light and backgrounds to play with.

SO after the fabulous Great Gatsby Photoshoot, Mary Kate and I decided to take a little time for ourselves.
This beautiful photo series was done at Maria’s a fabulous venue for Destination weddings in Rincon Puerto Rico. Mary Kate was the model for this photoshoot but was also the make up artist. She does incredible work for tv and film, check out some of her info here.
It was just starting to rain outside as we wrapped up the first shoot. The mix of the rain and wind along with the eerie effects of the infrared camera produced these pictures. Nothing better than pushing for more… even after a great photosession there is usually a little juice left to be squeezed. Often times some of the best pictures happen just before everyone is ready to quit. I’m happy we stuck around because the weather and the fantastic modeling made for exquisite photographs.
Creative Infrared Portrait of Mary Kate in the pool. Portrait and wedding photographer Rincon Puerto Rico.Mary Kate lounging in the door way as the rain falls still having fun with our photoshoot.Infrared is great because sometimes it picks up on tones just below the surface of the skin, this is why in some of the images you can see veins. My favorite image of the series, rain droplets falling on the surface of the pool and those piercing eyes and mysterious smile.
When Mary Gilmartin ( wwww.tastebudspr.com ), one of my favorite planners in Rincon asked me about doing a Great Gatsby inspired wedding photoshoot I jumped at the opportunity. I never pass up a chance to work with my buddies in the industry to come up with something creative. The location for the shoot was Marias a new spot on Maria’s Beach Behind Calypso. Its a great venue for a wedding, incredible housing accomodations, fabulous pool, plenty of lawn space for a garden cocktail hour and easy access to the beach. When I arrived that morning, Mary was stacking glasses to do a champagne pour with a big smile on her face. I went inside and met Mary Kate Gales ( http://www.mkgales.com ) our model and make-up artist for the day. Her look is stunning but what she can do with a powder compact and a brush is even more incredible, I’m looking forward to doing more work with her in the future. I wanted to capture some of the essence of the Great Gatsby, but I didn’t want to try and fake 1920’s New York, in 2013 Rincon, Puerto Rico. If the Great Gatsby had a destination wedding in Rincon, I think it would have looked something like this…

Megan and Daryl came to me for photography of their destination wedding here in Rincon, it was a wonderful family gathering with a delightful ceremony on the beach, a pig roast and Megans father even made some delicious southern fixings for the reception. I was also happy to hear the musical stylings of Hank Williams and other country music jams playing as their wedding songs from the stereo, and unusual thing to hear down here in Puerto Rico. I also loved their creative decorations, the beer holders made great gifts for friends and family. The couple was very open and realized on camera. My favorite Rincon weddings to photograph are the ones where genuine smiles come through and familial love and warm friendship are abundant. This crowd was great! 🙂
